Paintwork Correction:-
From A luxury prestige sportscar to a daily runaround, right to a brand new car at a dealership, most vehicles will exhibit some form of paintwork defects. This can be in many forms, from scratches, swirl marks, holograms, dull and faded appearance, all of which reduce the visual appearance and ultimately the value of your car. In many cases, the level the level of defects is not fully appreciated until the before and after pictures are seen, Some examples below of some recent correction work:-
On the car shown above, a 12 year old TVR, The paintwork was treated to a full correction then waxing, giving a much deeper shine and reflection.
Left image shows swirl marks and light scratching, particularly evident on a car with so many curves! Once corrected and waxed the car had a wet look to the paintwork and an amazing depth of shine.
Stunning results again. Yellow is always a hard colour to bring back to life, particularly if it has been subjected to tree sap for a period of time. With some correction then selected wax, this particular clients car was transformed back to perfect condition.
Its not all sports cars! This was a fiesta that had been subjected to some colour match cutting compound at some point in its life, which had faded, discoloured, felt gritty etc. A Machine cut with a heavy grade compound followed up by a finer cut then hand waxing achieved the results in the picture on the right.
Faded paintwork is often described as beyond repair / dead / sun-damaged, but this can be corrected.
The example shown here is a 7 year old Fiat where the paintwork on the bonnet was almost white rather than the original sporting yellow finish.
We have corrected the Right hand side of the bonnet then stopped to take this picture to show the difference that can be achieved. This vehicle was then waxed to a high shine finish to give a lasting finish to ensure that the fading will not return.
These are just a few samples to show what can be achieved with proper training, the right equipment, the skill and most of all the dedication and patience.
